Accounting and finance are the languages of business. If you can understand those languages, the chances are you'll be able to more effectively manage your business and communicate with your colleagues.

This is a program designed to give you a fundamental understanding of accounting principles - the tools you'll need to read financial reports, to analyze business performance, and to run a media business.

Subject Matter Experts

IME incorporates the experience of media and entertainment leaders into each of its programs. These Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) work with IME faculty to design and deliver course content, emphasizing pressing topics and emerging trends. The SMEs guarantee that programs are relevant and current, communicating knowledge that can be used.

Fees

The cost for the Finance and Accounting program is $ 4,300. Cost includes all class materials, as well as breakfast, lunch, and a cocktail hour event.

Payment is due prior to the start of the program.

The Institute for Media and Entertainment is a registered business school, recognized as such by the New York State Education Department. IME is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET). You may very likely be able to have IME's courses tuition reimbursed by your company. Please check with your company reimbursement policies.
